April 18, 2024 10 years ago— Marnie Fitzsimmons continues her experience in South America where she is studying in Quito, Ecuador. She has recently visited Machu Picchu in Peru and has spent some time on the Amazon River. Following several months of an incredible experience, she is expected home again at the end of the school year. April 4, 2024 10 years ago— Senator Ron Wyden will be back in Fossil to conduct his 700th town hall in the seat of Wheeler County, where by the way, he conducted his first town hall session as a United States Senator in 1996. The C-W Knights girls’ basketball team was invited to the Portland Trailblazer game for their ‘State Champions Night’. Days of Yore March 14, 2024 10 years ago – Damascus Christian had been a thorn in the side of the Condon-Wheeler Lady Knights all year, since the State Class 1A basketball tournament in Baker City in 2013 when the Eagles defeated the Lady Knights by two points for the championship.
