    Idaho growers seeded 740,000 acres of winter wheat for the 2024 crop, down 1 percent from 2023, and 4 percent below the 2022 crop. Oregon farmers planted 740,000 acres, unchanged from the 2023 crop but up 1 percent from 2022.
