Need volunteer to transport hay from Mulino to Spray
OSU Extension is coordinating with local response efforts to help farmers, ranchers and communities deal with the consequences of the wildfires currently affecting Oregon. Their role includes sharing information and resources, supporting producers to access disaster relief programs, coordinating hay/grain needs and donation pledges and N95 mask distribution.
Current Ask:
OSU Extension has a donor in Mulino who has pledged ~20 tons of grass blend hay (55#, 2 sting bales), and they are trying to get it to 2 wildfire victims who have expressed need in Wheeler Co. (Spray). One of which is in urgent need. OSU is seeking a volunteer who is able to transport this donation ASAP. The donor has a tractor with a grapple to help load the hay.
If you or someone you know can help, please contact Amber Zambrano at OSU Extension at 541-737-3676 or [email protected].
