Gilliam Co. Sheriff Gary Bettencourt attends Western States Sheriffs' Assoc. event in Texas

Gilliam County Sheriff Gary Bettencourt attended the Sheriffs' Association of Texas 2024 Conference in Fort Worth over July 22-23rd.

Sheriff Bettencourt was elected as the Western States Sheriffs' Association President this spring.

While at the conference in Texas, Sheriff Bettencourt gave an award to Texas Governor Greg Abbott to recognize his work on border security.
